We process personal data only to the extent necessary. Legal bases are in particular your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), the performance or initiation of a contract (lit. b) and our legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website (lit. f).

This website runs on a server of our hosting provider Hostinger (Hostinger International Ltd.), server location Germany (Frankfurt am Main, EU). Hostinger processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).

When the website is accessed, technical data is automatically stored in server log files (e.g. IP address, date/time, page accessed, browser type). This serves secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is deleted after a short time.

With our speed check you test the loading speed of an online shop you specify. The shop URL is transmitted to Google PageSpeed Insights (Google Ireland Ltd. or Google LLC, USA). Your email address, the results, the detected shop platform and the time and wording of your consent are stored to handle your request and to contact you. Legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), revocable at any time.

If you use the enquiry/intro-call form, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email, shop address, message) to answer your request and to initiate a contract (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).

To protect our forms from automated abuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). Technical data is transmitted to Cloudflare. Legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Enquiries and confirmations are sent by email via our provider Hostinger (SMTP).

We use technically necessary cookies to operate the website. Non-essential services (e.g. analytics) are only activated after your explicit consent via the cookie banner.

If you consent in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd. or Google LLC, USA) for reach analysis. Without consent the service is not loaded (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Fonts used are served locally from our server. No connection is made to Google Fonts servers.

Transfers to the USA occur within the scope of the named Google and Cloudflare services. They are based on appropriate safeguards (EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses under Art. 46 GDPR).

We store data only as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by law. Consent-based data until revocation or fulfilment of purpose.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, as well as to withdraw consent given (to office@markusstoeger.com).
